ECDC translation memory in 25 languages

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) released a translation memory in 25 languages. That memory is available in the TMX format and can be downloaded from the site of the Joint Research Centre (JRC).

The multilingual TMX can be imported into those translation tools that support such memories, for instance memoQ, Trados Workbench and SDL Trados Studio (the video shows how to do it in memoQ). For those tools that only support bilingual TMX files (for instance, Wordfast), it is possible to use Olifant (also shown in the video).

Another possibility to create bilingual TMX files out of the main multilingual one is to use the Java script (CreateLanguagePair.jar) supplied by the JRC with the TMX. Instructions are supplied in Readme_CreateLanguagePair.txt
